This app is great. My special education students K-4 love it. They dont fuss about playing it, AND they are learning!

Omg this is a fun game for school.
Like the educational value of the app, but wish it would read the question aloud to the players and that a parent or teacher could select the skills covered (i.e., a game with just syllables or r-controlled words).
It is great for learning and all my friends love it too!! It is fun and learning at the same time.
My speech students beg me to play this app. Can you make more like this please? MH SLP
Too small for iphone 5 screen.
This is a great game, but if children are to use it in the classroom with out a teacher, it will not work. Children who need these skills are not able to read the directions yet. Also I agree with the other teacher that we need to be able to isolate the skills (I.e., r- controlled, etc.)
This app is a fun tic toe game with reading and phonics integrated into it! My kindergartener is learning to read and this is a wonderful app she can grow with!
Lots of fun and very educational!
I have a hard time believing this app is as highly rated as it is. The app is supposed to be for working on phonics skills with early readers, but in order to answer a phonics question and get an x or o on the board, the child has to (wait for it) READ the question! I was dumbfounded! I can sit with my child to do this, but one would assume the child will not be able to use this application independently until they are independent readers, hence no longer in need of phonics practice. I thought surely there must be a way to hear the questions, so the child could answer on his/her own, but I do not see an option for this. Bummer, because this type of practice is just what my little guy needs right now.
Love this app, covers a lot of different phonics skills. It would be awesome if you could select specific skills to target in the game.
Frustrating as more than three taps or hold downs are necessary before it responds. Ok for me, but my learning to read daughter cant figure out why and goes and presses other answers thinking she must have been wrong! A great idea-but unresponsive on the iPhone 5
This would be a great app if you could have the questions read to you. The questions are very close to those on the news tests
The student I tutor loves this app, but it really should have an option to read the question out loud. Also, I like the idea of being able to target certain skills.
Many of my students can only play this if I am sitting there to read the directions to them. Because of this, it gets very little use in my classroom. In order for it to be usable, there needs to be an option for all words to be read aloud.
Omg my kid loves this app
Please update- I volunteer in first grade class. We use this app in the beginning of first grade. The children are very competitive and love earning their spot. But It needs an updated or level versions as they learn their words to keep it interesting for other grade levels
My 4yr old who can not read but is learning letters. We played the game a few times with an adult reading the questions, my four year old had the answers memorized with just a few rounds doesnt even need the question read to him. APP needs updated with the answers being mixed up along with a larger variety of questions.
