Phonics Tic-Tac-Toe Interactive Game App Reviews

I downloaded this ap hoping my students would be able to use it independently. The problem is that the instructions in each tic-tax-toe square require reading skills that are higher than the skills being taught. Thus, creating a need for assistance. However, this ap could be used when one partner is more advanced (parent/ child) etc.

It needs more questions. After ten minutes of playing, my ESL student memorized pretty much every answer.

My son loves tic tac toe, so I thought this would be perfect. The main downfall is that there us no voice to read the questions or the answers, or to help sound out the letters (when I cant physically read it to him). For a PHONICS game, that is a huge fail. However the idea of this app is perfect!!

My daughter is a struggling reader and enjoys playing this with me, but she has trouble reading many of the questions. There should be a way for the players to have the questions read to them (so two emerging readers can play without assistance).

Lots of fun....but....not a game they can play independently ...

My students love to play this app., but I find that it is very limited. They see the same questions if they play it more than twice and there is no voice for the struggling or beginning readers. It would also be nice to have the option of inputing your own lists or questions.

I would love to give this app 5 stars...however it needs to have the option of reading the questions out loud...most of my kindergarten students cant read this. I hope Lakeshore adds this feature....soon!

This is a very nice app and I love the variety of skills it covers, however could there be an option added to have sound. Many of my kindergartners and first graders cant read the question independently even though they know the skill.

My 5 yr old can read but needs help with spelling! This app definitely helps! Would like for it to be independently used and interactive where he can write in the different choices into the missing letters area so he can see what the word looks like.

I really liked this app but would love if the words could be touched for the student to hear what the word is if they are lower readers.

My 5 and 7 year olds love this app. It is great for those just learning to read.
